Arts Workshop

The CASSA Arts Workshop under the direction of Ruth Stenstrom, ATR-BC, is completing its 29th year of providing arts services for participants of Clean & Sober Streets. This year the Workshop is being assisted by C&SS Clinical Director Nisha Tracy, ATR, LPC, and two George Washington University graduate art therapy interns -- Kelly Jacobs and Ashley Rivera. Examples of fine artwork from our open studio program are shown below. 
Participants have visited the new National African-American Museum, National Gallery of Art East  and West Wings, the American Indian Museum, the Botanical Garden, the Post Office museum,  the Renwick Gallery,
the National Portrait Gallery, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum. 

The CASSA Arts Workshop is funded in  part by  the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities, 
an agency supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts.
